Positive: The location of this apartment is superb. It is just a few minutes walk from the harbour front in town. And being tucked around the headland it is very quiet - only the sounds I'd passing boats to be heard. The rooftop terrace gave us splendid views of the sunsets. The apartment itself was very cosy and comfortable - the second 'bedroom' doubles up as the kitchen living room but it does have its own shower room. The other bedroom has an ensuite. Both shower rooms feature some of the underlying rock of the hill - very creative designs. The kitchen had all you'd need for basic meal provision, though we ate evening meals in town - some excellent restaurants! The host met us at the ferry landing and showed us to and around the apartment when we arrived. All in all, a fabulous from where to explore the delightful island of Hydra.

Negative: Occasionally there was a stale smell from one of the shower drains, but these dispersed quickly once we opened some windows. And if course it was sad to leave at the end of our stay.
